SUFFEL, Karen - Of Flint, age 71, passed
away peacefully at
home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with
cancer March 12, 2009. Friends may visit the family at Swartz Funeral
Home, 1225 West Hill Road on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 1-4 and
6-8pm, with funeral service on March 18, 2009 at 1:00pm. Rev. Sarah
LaRose-Nettle officiating. Per Karen's wishes, cremation has taken
place. She is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and
friend to many. Love of art, fostered her creative talents. She was a
member of the Danks Studio Artists and past president of Left Bank Art
Gallery, golf enthusiast, member of Eagles Bumblebee Aerie 629. She
shared the joys of business with her husband at Michigan Teletronics
and Today's Audio in Burton, MI. She leaves to cherish her memories her
husband of 51 years, Keith "Red" Suffel, daughter Kari (Lesinski)
Arlinghaus of Ann Arbor; son Brian of Muskegon; grandson Keith Lesinski
of Ann Arbor, sisters, Gail (Paul) Stemple of Westland, Leah (Hugh)
Johnson of Flushing, Sister-Sister Beth Smith of Muskegon, Special
Friend Anita Lesinski , several nieces and nephews, and many, many
friends. She was preceded in death by her son Kevin and brother Don E.
Smith. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Camp Quality
