Mr. Carl J. Wisneski, aged 86 of Grand Rapids, Veteran of World War II, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 7, 2009. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Ann Merdzinski and his wife, Jean Wisneski. Surviving are his children, Mary Sue (Mike) Wavra, Joan Wisneski (Garth Gaffney), Tom Wisneski (Kevin Rand); son-in-law, Jim Merdzinski; grandchildren, Amy (Todd) Rose, Brain (Lindsay) Merdzinski, Paul (Jamie) Merdzinski, Kevin Merdzinski, Kari (Brain) Hall; great grandchildren, Aaron and Lindsay Rose; sister, Josephine Kalisz; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Isidore Church and a retiree of Lear Siegler Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial and Committal Service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Isidore Church. He will repose at church one hour prior to the Mass. Entombment Chapel Hill Mausoleum. The family will receive visitors Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arsulowicz Brothers, East Mortuary, 937 Michigan St. NE where a Vigil Service will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions to Friends of the Michigan Veterans Homes will be appreciated. |
