Mrs. Jean E. Wisneski, aged 83, of
Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 19, 2009. She was
preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Ann Merdzinski. Surviving
are her husband of 58 years, Carl; her children, Mary Sue (Mike) Wavra,
Joan Wisneski (Garth Gaffney), Tom Wisneski (Kevin Rand); son-in-law,
Jim Merdzinski; grandchildren, Amy (Todd) Rose, Brian Merdzinski
(fiancée Lindsay Darooge), Paul Merdzinski (fiancée Jamie
Samotis), Kevin Merdzinski, Kari (Brian) Hall; great grandchildren,
Aaron and Lindsay Rose; sister-in-law, Josephine Kalisz; several nieces
and nephews. Jean was a member of St. Isidore Parish, Ladies Altar
Rosary Society whose members will pray the Rosary Tuesday 2:00 p.m.
Jean was a retiree of Meijer Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial and
Committal will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Isidore
Church where she will repose one hour before. Entombment Chapel Hill
Mausoleum. Memorial contributions to the Friends of the Michigan
Veterans Homes will be appreciated.
