Harold Robert Whalen, aged 80, of Kentwood, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009. Surviving are his wife, Louise; children, Edward (Cathie) Khouri, Renee Kuhn, Michael (Barbara) Khouri, Shelly Khouri, Mimi (Mark) Salhaney; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sister, Betty J. Hayes. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 12th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2250 East Paris SE with Rt. Reverend Daniel Daly officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Cemetery. Memorials to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church or Mel Trotter Mission will be appreciated. Trisagion services will be held Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. and the family will meet with friends and relatives Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ofield Funeral Home and Thursday 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. |
