Donald Gordon Wasker (84) of Seminole, FL returned to his creator on April 30, 2009. He is survived by his three children, Brent Wasker and Barbara Martinelli and their mother, Marty Wasker; and Deborah Froman; ten grandchildren, Jenny, Cheryl, Amy, Kristalyn, Hilary, Andrew, Olivia, Toya, Chandra and Jeremy; and eight great-grandchildren. Born October 16, 1924, Donald was the youngest of nine and served his country as a WWII veteran in the Pacific and Iwo Jima. As long-time resident and former proprietor of the Flamingo Lounge, he made friends with many people from Grand Rapids' West Side.
