k Marion "Mac" VanDyke, aged 83, of Cutlerville, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 1, 2009. Mac served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He and Annette lived in Racine, WI, for many years where he served as an elder and deacon at Racine Christian Reformed Church, prior to retiring to Cutlerville in 1986. He was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Annette; his sisters, Reka Andringa, Bertha VanderPlatts; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, June VanDyke, Edythe and Robert DeBoer, Bernice and Clifford DeBoer, Donald and Nancy DeBoer, Grace DeBoer, Wilma DeBoer; several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 5, at Trinity United Reformed Church, 7350 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, with Rev. Brian Vos officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity URC Building Fund or Zion Christian School. |
