 Grace (DeJong) Tornga, age 94, formerly of Green Lake, went
to be with her
Lord, August 4, 2009. She was preceded in death by her loving husband
of 70
years, Henry "Heinie" Tornga, daughter, Baby Jane, sisters, Effie
Nelson, Elizabeth Belke, Gertrude Buttermore, Peg Wustman, brother,
Clarence
DeJong, and son-in-law, Bert Kamps. Grace lives on in the hearts of her
daughter, Joyce Kamps; granddaughter, Cindy (Rick) Esther of Hastings;
great
granddaughters, Tessa Kamps and Allison Esther; sisters, Nancy (Fred)
Walker,
Rita (Russ) Polmanteer; brother, Casey DeJong and many nieces and
nephews. When
able, Grace spent much of her time making beautiful paintings and
jewelry at
their home on Green Lake. A very special thanks to Mary Jane, Rita and
Russ for
their constant support thru the last seven years. Also thank you Ruth
for the
great care you gave her the last ten months. To the staff of Hospice of
Barry
Community, we couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for all for
your
help. Funeral services will be Thursday at 12:00 noon in the funeral
home
chapel. Interment at Chapel Hill
Cemetery. Memorials to Barry Community
