Leona Taylor, age 76.  Sunrise, August 11, 1932.  Sunset, January 8, 2009.  She is a beloved mother, grandmother, a loving sister, and friend to many.  She has ten children, Willie Patterson, Shirley Woods, Mary Taylor, Ruby Taylor, Jackie Taylor, Joyce (Willie) Plair, Peggy Spicer, Michael (Tracy) Taylor, Brenda (Daniel) Jeffery and Tracy Taylor, all of Grand Rapids, MI; 30 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.  Leona was a member of Church of God Pentecostal 1326 Ashland St. NE, Grand Rapids, MI.  She has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Leona fought a long time with her illness and she will always be remembered.  Funeral Services will take place at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church on Thursday January 15 at 510 Franklin St. SE.  Family Hour is at 10 a.m and Homegoing Celebration at 11 a.m.  Interment is at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids, MI.
