Mr. Charles William “Bill” Stricklen, age 81, of Canadian Lakes, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, September, 23, 2008. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Ruth; children, Ellen (William) Taylor, David (Cheryl) Stricklen; grandchildren, Justin Stricklen, Jordan Stricklen; step-grandchildren, Laura (Eric) Peterson, Susan Taylor, David Taylor; brothers, Jack (Connie) Stricklen, Dick (Helen) Stricklen; sister; Rose (Tom) Gajaski; sister-in-law, Dorothy Flier; many nieces and nephews. Bill retired from Klingman’s Furniture after many years of service. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2008 with pastor Joel Thompson officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.
