Betty Jane (Verburg) Soldaat, aged 80, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, September 13, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill (1991) and her sister, Loraine Davelaar (2003). She leaves behind her loving family: her daughter, Sally (Michael) Dertien; her son, Bill R. (Linda); her grandchildren, Ellen (Brent) Bode, Samuel, Adam, Benjamin, and Daniel. Also her brother-in-law, Harvey Davelaar; special friend, Pat Norden; her niece, nephew, their families; and many loving and caring friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1:00 p.m. at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel with visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Rev. Tom Archer will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Operation Stork or Common Ground Church. |
