Elise Jean Rodibaugh, of Allendale, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2009 at her daughter's home in Montana. She was surrounded by memories and family. She had fought a long and brave battle with diabetes and kidney disease. Mrs. Rodibaugh was preceded in death by her loving husband, Meurl, her parents, Richard and Lillian Oberly, and sisters, Barbara Wells and Janice Stratton. She will be dearly missed by her sons, Michael (Kate) Rodibaugh and Richard Rodibaugh; her daughters, Susan Rodibaugh, Sally (Michael Fahley) Rodibaugh, and Laura (Steven) Bolstad. Surviving, also, are grandchildren, Ben, Jack and Sara Rodibaugh. Elise worked for the US Postal Service for 18 years in the Allendale office. Her friends and neighbors can join the family for a celebration of life service at the Allendale Township Hall's community room on March 25 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Elise's name can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
