 Dolores N. Pugh, aged 80, of
Kentwood, went to
be with the Lord, Friday, January 16, 2009. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick and
her parents,
LeRoy and Pearl Walters. Surviving are
her children, Judy (Thomas) Sharum of Rockford and Tom Pugh of Comstock
Park;
three grandchildren, William M. (Shelly) Baker, Scott (Jessica) Baker
and
Jeffrey (Shandra) Baker; nine great grandchildren, Kalynn, Julie, Kara,
Samantha, Lindsay, Andrea, Rachel, Josiah and Caleb Baker; four
step-grandchildren, Thomas (Becky) Sharum, Scott (Angie) Sharum, Wendy
(Tim)
Deleruyelle and Todd Sharum; and her longtime dear friend, Ralph
VanderHeide. She was a longtime member
of Woodward Ave. Baptist Church where she taught Awanas.
She enjoyed traveling, bowling and
crocheting. Funeral services will be
held 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2009 with Pastor Charles Brewster
officiating. The family will greet
relatives and friends Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will
be at
Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens on Monday. Memorial
contributions may be made in her name to North
Kent Service
Center, 10075 Northland Dr., Rockford, MI. |
