| Virginia “Ginger” Price, aged 87, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2009. She served her country in the US Marine Corp, and was a faithful volunteer for several organizations throughout her life, including her church, Community of Christ - Union Ave. Branch. She especially loved the years she served as Sunday School Director. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; their daughter, Susan; her sister, Marjorie Berg. Surviving are her children, Kay (Larry) Steiner, Jeanne (Van) Simpson; her grandchildren, Meghan Simpson, Jill Simpson; her nieces; and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 10th, at Community of Christ Church, 2140 Union Ave. SE, with Elder Almer L. Dieterman officiating. Interment is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to the SECOM Food Pantry. A time for visitation with Virginia’s family will be held immediately following the service at the church. |
