| Florence Ponstein, aged 103, of Grand Rapids, was welcomed into the presence of her Lord and Savior Sunday, February 1, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arie, son-in-law, Cornelius Kamps; six brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her two daughters, Arlene Kamps, Gladys (George) DeVries; 14 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the caretakers at Raybrook Manor and Faith Hospice for the loving attention they gave to "grandma". Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1 p.m. with Rev. James Kralt officiating. The family will be at the funeral chapel to greet friends and relatives on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment is at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice. |
