LaDonna Mae Hatcher Phillips, 85 of Sallisaw, OK, formerly of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away July 9, 2009 in Ft. Smith, AR. A memorial service will be held July 11, 2009, 4 p.m. at Agent Chapel in Sallisaw, OK. Mrs. Phillips was born September 3, 1923 in Pemberton, OH, the daughter of John Hatcher and Melva Covault Hatcher. She was married to Clarence Edward "Buzz" Phillips on April 29, 1944 in Sidney, OH. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1990 in Saranac, MI. She was a homemaker. Surviving are one daughter, Phyllis Lozo of Sallisaw, OK; one son, Richard Stacy Phillips of Aurora, CO; one step-daughter, Peggy Adams; three grandchildren, Ed, Laura and Johnny; five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and two sisters. |
