In memory of
Bernard (Bernie) R. Osenga, age 91, died Tuesday at the Rest Haven Home. A life-long resident of Grand Rapids and Wyoming, Bernie was a World War II veteran and a retiree from Kelvinator. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine; and a son, Richard. He is survived by three daughters, Marcia (Jim) Kipp of Grand Rapids, Kathleen (Denis) Pervis of Cleveland, OH, and Anne (Jim) Cox of Tijeras, NM. Other survivors include sisters, Martha (Dan) Derogee, Harriet (Dick) Hoffman, Charlotte Flanders, Lucille Sytsema, and nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the Rest Haven Home, 1424 Union Ave. NE in Grand Rapids, Friday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Dennis Gilbert of the Church of the Open Door officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions to either Mel Trotter Ministries or Rest Haven Home will be appreciated.
