Mr. Edward
Nelson,
aged 86, of Wyoming, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2009. He was
preceded in
death by his wife, Maria Grace Nelson; daughter, Sharon Nelson.
Surviving are
his sons, James, Edward, Karl (Kristyn), and Guy (Rebekah) Nelson;
daughter,
Shirley Uhl; grandchildren, Jason, James, Lexi, Allyson, Gabrielle,
Sophia,
Heather Mathias and Wendy Dunneback; great grandsons, Curtis and
Austin;
brothers, Robert (Patti) Nelson and Don Nelson; sister, Betty
Scheuneman; brother-in-law,
Gaetano (Vilma) Venturelli; several nieces and nephews. Ed was a
Veteran of
WWII proudly serving in the Merchant Marines. A celebration of Ed's
life will
be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 with Pastor Doug Van
Doren
officiating. His family will greet relatives and friends Sunday from 3
to 6
p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment Chapel Hill
Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland
Health -
