<> Mrs. Maria Grace Nelson, aged 78, of Wyoming, passed away
Monday, July 27,
2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Giuseppe and Carmella
Venturelli, daughter, Sharon Nelson. Surviving are her husband, Edward;
brother, Gaetano (Vilma) Venturelli; sons, James, Edward, Karl
(Kristyn), and
Guy (Rebekah) Nelson; daughter, Shirley Uhl; grandchildren, Jason,
James, Lexi,
Alyson, Gabrielle and Sophia; great grandsons, Curtis and Austin;
several
nieces and nephews. Grace was born and raised in Tortorici, Sicily. Her
greatest joy was her family, she also enjoyed cooking. Mrs. Nelson was
a member
of Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ. A celebration of
Grace's
life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2009 at the
Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga
Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. with Rev. William Handy
officiating. Her
family will greet relatives and friends Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
p.m.
Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be
made to
Laurels of Sandy Creek, In Memory of Grace Nelson.
