 Calvin E. Morrison, aged 82, of Grand Rapids, passed away
peacefully Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at his home with his family by his
side. He
was preceded in death by his son, Calvin John, and his great grandson,
Zachary
Scott. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Marie; his children, Nancy
Morrison,
Linda (Pete) Richards, Cheryl (William) Wilton, Marvin Morrison, and
Tina
Morrison; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces
and
nephews. Calvin served in the U.S. Army during WWII, he loved bowling,
camping,
fishing, and playing cards. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m.
Friday at
Faith Lutheran Church, 2740 Fuller Ave. N.E. with Rev. Stephen
Kauffmann
officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
