Donald James Mire, 56, passed away on December 29, 2008 in New Orleans, a city he loved. He is survived by his former wife, Diana and his children, Ryan Mire and Randy Mire; brother, Daniel Mire; his special friend, Sandy Christian. Don loved cooking and eating Creole food, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He will be missed by all. A service will be planned at a later date.  Interment is at Chapel Hill in Grand Rapids.
