 Helen Marie Lyon, born in Orange
City, Iowa on October 15, 1921, went to be
with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Heaven
Rejoices! She is
survived by her children, Susan (Ron) Mekkes, David (Markay) Lyon,
Kathy
(Duane) Addink, Pete (Sherry) Lyon, and Chris (Kevin) Mulder;
brothers-in-law
and sisters-in-law, Tunis (Sue) Lyon, Grace (Donald) TerBeek. She had
20
grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her
husband, John Lyon, son, Tim Lyon, grandchildren, Joshua Lyon and
Teresa Lyon.
She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and
great
grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading and ceramic classes.
Funeral
services will be held Friday 11:30 a.m. at Fairway Christian Reformed
Church,
1165 44th St., Jenison, with Rev. David Den Haan officiating. Interment
at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. |
