Mr. Argyl Loomans
"Arg", age 81, formerly from Grand Rapids - Cutlerville, went to be
with his Lord on Wednesday morning, September 30, 2009, at the Tender
Care
Nursing Home of Ludington where he had been currently living. He is
survived by
his wife, Birdie, who he was married to for 61 years. Surviving
children are
his daughter, Kim Saxton and her spouse, Colin; son, Kevin Loomans and
his
spouse Tammi; grandchildren, Ryan and Erin, Travis, Brad and Lindsey,
Cory and Heather,
Jake, Ellen and Scott, Mark and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Dustin (4
years),
Nadia (2 years), Mckenzie (7 months) and Mason (4 days); two sisters;
several
nieces, nephews and many friends. Argyl was very well known as ARG in
the
Cutlerville community as a Bus Driver and Maintenance man for many
years and
was very active in the community where he had many loving memories. The
last
years of his life were spent residing on his daughter and son-in-law's
farm in
the Ludington area which he also loved. He had many years of various
ministries
after graduating from Reformed Bible College (now Kuyper College). He
loved
serving the Lord in whatever he did and found a lot of joy working with
kids
and enjoyed his family very much. Special thanks to the staff of
Tendercare of
Ludington and Hospice of MI, especially Vickie and all the others that
showed
love and care. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of
flowers,
memorial contributions can be given to Hospice of MI, Kuyper College,
South
Christian or Legacy Christian Schools.
