Robert M. Lawton,
age 82 of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday,
June 27,
2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Pearl Lawton,
sisters,
Maella Davis and Mildred Voss, and brother, Alvin Lawton. He will be
lovingly
remembered by his wife of 53 years, Shirley (Rich) Lawton; his
children, Robert
J. Lawton, Susan (Benjamin) Trujillo, Julie (Terry Lane) Poll, and
Daniel
Lawton; grandchildren, Heather Trujillo, Randy Wierenga, Robby Poll,
and Kristi
Poll; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Robert retired from Smiths
Industries after 35 years. He was an artist and also loved to spend
time
fishing. Robert and Shirley loved to travel together by car, enjoying
the
beautiful scenery. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday
at the
Cook Memorial Chapel - (East Building) with Pastor Dan Spaulding
officiating.
Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. |
