Mrs. Arlaine R. Kline, age 82 of Grand Rapids. Because of the amazing grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Arlaine went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 12, 2009. She received Christ as her personal Savior at age 12. Arlaine was a member of Northland Baptist Church for over 50 years, was church secretary for a number of years and served in various areas of the church's ministry. She was preceded in death by her son, Gary, and her brother, Eugene Tiejema. She is survived by her best friend and husband of 62 years, Truman; her children, Linda Barber, Leslie Howe, Kurt and Cindie Kline, Bob and Linda Kline; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Kline; her grandchildren, Steve and Karen Kline, Rich and Katy Kline, Aubrey Howe, Marc and Jennifer Howe, Brendan and Autumn Howe, Erik Barber, Kurtis Kline, Theresa Kline and Christopher Kline; her great grandchildren, Devon Kline, Blake Kline, and Jack Howe; her brother, Irwin Tiejema; her sister, Hazel (Ernie) Schutter. The service of praise and thanksgiving for Mrs. Kline will be Sunday afternoon, August 16, 2009 at 3 p.m. at Northland Baptist Church, 4162 Hunsberger Ave. NE Grand Rapids, MI 49525 with Pastor David Cvetich and Pastor Maynard Belt officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Those desiring an expression of sympathy may consider Faith Hospice. |
