 Rev. Walter (Tony) Latonie Kilgo, Sr., age 65, of Grand
Rapids, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 5,
2009. Mr.
Kilgo served his country in the United States Air Force during the
Vietnam War,
he is the former Pastor of New Beginning Church of God In Christ, he is
also a
retired firefighter for the City of Grand Rapids. Surviving are his
wife, Joyce
(Mosley); children, Walter (Tony) Kilgo Jr of Kent City, MI, ILona
Crawford of
Virginia Beach, VA, Javon (Erin) Kilgo of Rochester, IN; eight
grandchildren;
special nieces and nephew, Argola Mosley, Brittany Mosley, Persona
Vincent,
Sa'Maria Hamilton, Da'Shaun Mosley; one brother, Arthur (Veree) Kilby
of San
Antonio, TX; sisters, Ruby Boyd and Laura (Lee Henry) Winton of
Harriman, TN,
Carol (Robert) Sobers of Crete, IL, Alma Moore of Los Angeles, CA,
Francine
Little and Pamela Kilgo of Grand Rapids, MI; aunt, Bertha McCaleb of
Inglewood,
CA; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at
Grand Rapids First
Assembly of God Church, 2100-44th St. SW with Pastor Jack Pepple
officiating.
