 Jeanne
Mae Kelley,
age 82, passed away at Lifehouse assisted living home in Grand Blanc,
Michigan
on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. She was preceded in death by her
parents,
Lucious and Gladys Calkins and her husband, Fred W. Kelley. Jeanne is
survived
by her son, Scott (Mary Kay) Kelley; daughter, Nancy (Gary) Dowling;
grandchildren, Patrick Kelley, Ryan Dowling and Melissa Dowling
(fiancé Nick
Thompson); and several cousins and friends. Jeanne was born February
23, 1927
in Grand Rapids and lived most of her life in Wyoming, MI. She was
employed by
Montgomery Wards in Rogers Plaza until her retirement. She volunteered
for many
organizations over the years and loved teaching Sunday school. Jeanne
was a
member of the former South Congregational Church of Grand Rapids. She
moved to
Linden, Michigan in later years to be near her children and
grand-children. Her
caring, kindness and especially her sense of humor will be missed by
all.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at
Chapel
Hill Memorial Gardens. Those desiring may make memorial contributions
to the Alzheimer's
Association in memory of Jeanne. |
