Mr. Walter Johnson, aged 93 of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Johnson. Surviving are his son, John L. Johnson; daughter, Carole Vonk; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Private family services will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
