   Armstrong Holloway

   1916-2009


Armstrong "Bill" Holloway, born November 22, 1916, resident of Grand Rapids, passed away on April 11, 2009, after a prolonged illness. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Annie, his parents and 10 of his 11 siblings. He leaves to mourn his dear sister, Leona (Edward) Spencer; sister-in-laws, Margaret Holloway and Sarah Holloway and a host of nieces and nephews who remember him as a loving, caring uncle who touched all of our lives. Rev. Holloway served his country in WWII and served his Lord through his ministry. He was a gifted musician and artist. Friends are invited to share in his home-going celebration on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ, 718 Lafayette SE, Grand Rapids. Family hour 10 a.m. followed by services at 11 a.m. the Rev. Willie Tyler Sr. officiating.
