Maggie Hester, age 72, of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 17, 2009. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Earl Hester; children, Amber Hester, Martha (Chris) Hester-Harrison, Sarah Tewolde, James Porter Hester, Mattie (Billy) Pearson, and Marion Hester; sister, Geneva Heard; and a host of grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
