 Thomas Reed Grimm
passed away on November 30, 2009. He was born in Owensboro, KY on
January 27,
1926. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Davis and brother,
Richard
L. Grimm. He is survived by his mother, Mary Frances Grimm; his loving
wife of
57 years, Carol Ann; children, Christine Beaver, Stephen L. Grimm
(Amber) and
devoted grandchildren, Jason Brzezinski, Jamie (Jeff) Burns, Kara
Brzezinski,
Davis, Dylan and Eleanor Grimm and two great grandchildren, Jeffrey and
Kaylin
Burns; one brother, William Davis and two sisters, Julie Skibinski and
Lana
Hatcher of NE; a brother-in-law, Roland Hultsch of Columbia, MO; and
nieces and
nephews. Tom honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World
War II,
serving in the Philippine Islands. He was a graduate of Ball State
University
with his masters’ degree from Indiana University. He taught school for
three
years and was a personnel director for 30 years. To honor his request,
he has
been cremated and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Tom
lived his
life with dignity and grace and will be missed by those who loved him. |
