Elizabeth Gress, age 91, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 7, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merritt Gress. Surviving are her children, Philip and Pat Gress, Roger and Sue Gress, Merribeth and Doug Buys and Debra and Mike Koster; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Annette and Tob Visser and Fran VanderKam; sister-in-law, Anne Vandenberg; brother-in-law, Chuck Dykema; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Manor Chapel, 725 Baldwin, Jenison, with Rev. Mark Bennink officiating. Entombment is at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
