 Ilah Mae
Gillespie, age 91, of Grand Rapids, born December 22, 1917, died August
28,
2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward B. Gillespie and
grandson, Vic Allen Kamps. Ilah is survived by her older sister, Veta
Buckly;
her children, Sharon and Bill Haines, Sharon's daughter, Julie and
husband,
Edward Hasenfus; Nancy and Terry VanderKolk and son, Scott and wife,
Julie
VanderKolk; son, Travis and wife, Rebecca with great grandchildren,
Alexander
and MacKenzie; John Gillespie and wife, Donna Janville and son, Jesse
Gillespie; Janet L. Gillespie; Linda M. Matthews, son, Kristian
Matthews,
daughter, Aprille Matthews, great granddaughter, Madison Reister, son,
Noah
Matthews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at
11:00
a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 227 E. Fulton Street, with a
luncheon to
follow. Interment at Chapel Hill
Memorial Gardens. Those desiring may
make memorial contributions to the charity of their choice in memory of
Ilah. |
