Mrs. Linda K. Fortney, aged 54, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord and Savior and join her daughter, Jessica Fortney who preceded her in death, Sunday April 5, 2009. Surviving are her husband, Terry Fortney; her children, Harry and Kali Fortney, Zachary Fortney, Tina and Tommy Piccione, her grandchildren, Gaetano Piccione, Maria Piccione, Harry Fortney Jr.; her parents, Frank and Julia Nyholt; her brother, sisters and their spouses, Charles Nyholt, Judith McClure, Marilyn and Jim Chambers, Ruth and Tim Robinson, Karen and Bob Jones; her sister-in-law, Sue M. Fortney and several nieces, nephews. A service to celebrate Linda's life will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at West Leonard Christian Reformed Church, 1053 Leonard St. N.W. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends are invited to gather with her family Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  For those who wish, memorial contributions to the West Michigan Chapter of the A.L.S. Society or Heartland Hospice would be appreciated.
