| a Robert A. Elenbaas, aged 68, of Grand Rapids, passed away from lung cancer on Sunday, October 18, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; and his parents, Alvin and Betty Elenbaas. Surviving are his daughter, Tricia (Brad) Church; brothers and sisters, Rick (Penny) Elenbaas, Russ (Kathy) Elenbaas, Sherry (Jim) Larabel, and Sue (Tom) Burton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Loretta (Peter) VanZytveld, Barbara Swinburnson, Kathy (Ray) Kroft, Eileen (Pat) Schullo, and Pam (Don) Shaffer; his soul mate, Sharon Potter; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends; plus his cats, Lucy and C.C. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009, with Rev. Troy Nevins as celebrant. Entombment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to YWCA Domestic Violence Crisis Center.
