EADES (Sparta) - Mrs. Sue Ann Eades, age 61, was welcomed home to be with her Lord and Saviour, whom she faithfully, served on Saturday, December 19, 2009. Sue was one of eight children and graduated in 1966 from Ashtabula High School in Ohio. She attended Grace Bible College where she met Leo and then became a pastor's wife. They served at a church in Portage, OH, then in Texas, and moved back to this area in October of 1978. She was a secretary at Youth for Christ and filled in as a volunteer secretary at Kent Hills Elementary School. Sue loved spending time with her grandchildren and was very active in the churches she attended and served the Lord in several capacities. Sue, a great wife, mother, and grandmother, is survived by her husband, Leo whom she married on May 30, 1970; daughter, Jessica Marsman of Cedar Springs; grandchildren, Nathan, Timothy, Grace; brothers and sisters, Kenneth (Pat) Siekkinen of Jefferson, OH, James (Nancy) Siekkinen of Saybrook, OH, Thomas Siekkinen of Austabula, OH, Patricia Sandella of Akron, OH, Mrs. Karen Brown of Austin, TX; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Mary Siekkinen, brother, Robert, and sister, Janet. The Service of Praise and Thanksgiving for the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ for Sue will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Pederson Funeral Home with Pastor Duaine Reichelt officiating. Entombment in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Grace Bible Fellowship or Bible Doctrines.
