Anna Mae De
Zwaan, aged 87 years, was called by
her Savior to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 13, 2009. She was preceded in death by her loving
husband of 58 years, C. W. (Bud). She
graduated from G.R. Central High School in 1939, was employed as a
secretary at
Creston High School and G.R. Fisher Body General Motors Corp. She held various accounting positions at
Waste Management, Inc. and her husband's business, "Bud's Market". She is survived by her children, Susan
and
Jon VandenBroek, David (Duff) and Amira De Zwaan; grandsons, Andrew
(Drew) and
Mark De Zwaan; brother, Richard and Arlene VanAartsen; many loving
nieces and
nephews; her dear life-long friend, Martha (Allen) Carlson; many other
dear
friends. Interment is at Chapel Hill
Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends
may meet her family at the funeral home on Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. and
Friday 1 to
1:45 p.m. Those who wish may make
memorial contributions to Eighth Reformed Church or Spectrum Health
Continuing Care. The family wishes to
thank all of the staff
of Spectrum Health Continuing Care (Kalamazoo Ave.) for the wonderful
care they
have given mom over the past 11 months.
