Cornelia (Connie) Eleanora De Lange, aged 91, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord, Sunday, June 14, 2009. She was born in Rochester, NY to William and Ida De Jong. She was a long time member of Sherman St. CRC and taught math for over 30 years at Creston Christian School. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard and brother, Jacob. Surviving are her children, Leon (Shirley) De Lange, Alan (Vicki) De Lange, Keith De Lange; grandchildren, Linda (Roger) Baas, Diane (Dan) Apol, A.J. (Nancy) De Lange, Susan (Mike) Uhl; great grandchildren, David and Rachel Baas, Janelle and Alison Apol, Bolan De Lange; sister, Annie Bott; sister-in-law, Bea De Jong. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, at Calvary Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Byron Center Ave. SW, with Dr. Douglas Kamstra officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Connie's family gives thanks for her loving care at Brookcrest Nursing Facility.
