Albert
P. DeBoer, aged 81, of Jenison, a faithful servant of his Lord and
Savior, was
called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, January 20, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his first wife,
Klazina, step-son, Wesley Heersink, and sister, Ethel Venema. Albert was a longtime member of Baldwin
Street Christian Reformed Church for over 40 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 25 years,
Aleida;
sons, Bill and Carol DeBoer, Ray and Shelly DeBoer; granddaughters,
Alesha and
Nick McKenney, Kelly DeBoer, Jessica, and Brandee DeBoer; step-sons,
Harry and
Madeline Heersink, Stanley and Cindy Heersink; step-grandchildren,
Brandon and
Elizabeth Heersink, Jeremy and Hilary Heersink, Alica and Scott Perl;
sisters,
Grace and Gordon DeYoung, Mary and Bill Byl, Clara Nyhoff, Dorothy and
Gerritt
Ver Steg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Evert and Geraldine
Heersink,
Henrietta Koops, Adolf and Florence Heersink, Johanna Senti; and
several nieces
and nephews. Funeral services will be
held Friday 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gerard Van Groningen officiating.
Interment is
at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial
contributions
to Baldwin Street Christian Reformed Church. Relatives and friends may
meet his
family at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. |
