Myna M. DeBlaay, aged 83, of Grand
Rapids,
passed away on Monday, October 5,
2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her brothers,
Neil
Westrate, Marinus Westrate, Bob Westrate, and Jim Westrate. She is
survived by
her children, Larry (Ann) DeBlaay, Marilyn (Ron) Klaasen, Jack (Dawn)
DeBlaay,
Greg (Melissa) DeBlaay; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren;
her
brothers, Tony (Lena) Westrate, Rich (Gertrude) Westrate; her twin
sister,
Marge (Marinus) Kamps; her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rokus
"Roke" (Louise) DeBlaay, Sarah Marsman; many nieces and nephews. The
Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 9, with Rev. Foppe
VanderZwaag officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Contributions in memory of Myna may be made to Plymouth Christian
School, Faith
Hospice at Trillium Woods, or Heritage Netherlands Reformed Church. |
