 Ludie Jackson-Darden went to
be with the
Lord, Saturday, September 12, 2009,
surrounded by her loving children. Ludie leaves to cherish her memory
her
children, Judith (Henry) McGhee, Marsha Jackson, Carol Hight, Gary
(Kimberly)
Jackson, David Jackson, and Carl Jackson; 11 grandchildren and 16 great
grandchildren. She retired from the Grand Rapids Public School District
after
30 years of service. Ludie was preceded in death by her parents, two
brothers,
and husband, Del. Visitation will be at Ivy K. Gillespie-Moody Memorial
Chapel
on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A
celebration of
her life will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at Neland Avenue
Christian
Reformed Church with family hour at 12:00 Noon and a Homegoing Service
at 1:00
p.m. |
