Robert E. "Bob" Cook, aged 62,
passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2009
after a very short bout with cancer. He was preceded in death by his
brother,
Richard Cook. Surviving are his wife, Beverly; son, Brian James Cook;
and
daughter, Brandi Jo Cook; parents, Earl and Marianna Cook; four
brothers,
Ronald (Kathy), Randy (Karen), Russ (Sherie) and David (Dawn); many
nieces and
nephews. A special thanks to Bob's diving friends, Mike Riley, Cap
Miles, Gary
Parker and Marv Adams and to interim Chief, Laura Knapp (GRFD). A
Funeral
Service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 11 a.m. at La
Grave Avenue
Christian Reformed Church, 107 La Grave SE. The family will greet
friends on
Thursday, September 3 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Memorial
Alternatives
Chapel, 2432 Fuller Ave. NE and on Friday one hour prior to the service
at
church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to
Hospice of MI
or to the Angel Animal Rescue and Veterinary Clinic, P.O. Box 122,
Chase, MI
49623. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. |
