Paul
A. Chapman, aged 68, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on
Sunday, March
21, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Elsa
M.
Chapman; and wife, Jill Chapman. He is survived by his wife, Barb
Chapman; son,
Mike Chapman; daughters, Vickie (Rick) Mathis, Annie (Mike) Brubaker;
daughter-in-law, Tammy Chapman; step children, John and Jamie Allen,
Jessica
and Lance Hart; grandchildren, Christopher and Keven Mathis, Matthew,
Jaycob,
Dylan, Mark, and Danielle Chapman, Sadie and Lydia Brubaker, Landon and
Tyler
Hart, and Sophia Allen; brother, William and Janice Chapman; sister,
Doris
Chapman; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Jan Volk. He loved
spending
time with family, growing flowers, and gardening. He was always very
optimistic, looking at the glass half full, not half empty. Paul
overcame every
obstacle in life with grace and dignity. Paul was a fighter and fought
Type I
Diabetes for over 62 years. He was also a lifetime Mason. Funeral
services will
be held Thursday 11:00 AM. Interment
Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial
