Helen Bolema, aged 78, of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard K. Bolema.  She is survived by her children, Tim (Sandy) Bolema of Grand Rapids, Doug Bolema of Wyoming; grandchildren, Erin (Javier) Ramirez, Peter (Jessica) Bolema, Keagan (Alyssa) Bolema, Codi (Rob) Eastway; great-grandson, Diego; sister, Esther Bosscher; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marvin (Patty) Bolema, and June (Maurice) Faasse.  According to Helen's wishes, cremation has taken place.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 3230 Eagle Park Dr. NE, Suite 200, Grand Rapids, MI 49525 or Multiple Sclerosis Society Michigan Chapter, 21311 Civic Center Dr., Southfield, MI 48076.
