Joyce Elaine Bloem, age 79, has passed from this life into new life. Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ took her home on Saturday, Oct.10, 2009. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; son, Karl; and grandson, Zack. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jan and Carolyn Hollander, Aaron Hollander, Andy (Sandra) Hollander, Diego, Gabriel, Allison (Jeremiah) Riquiero, Alex Hollander, Amber Hollander. Sonny and Jean Bloem, Nick, Megan. Larry and Sharon Bouwense, Matthew, Andrea. William and Cynthia Bloem, Kristina, Bradlee. Brother in law, George (Jean) Bloem. Sisters-in-law, Carol Cooper, Elaine (Herb) Marsman, Shirley (Ted) Egler. A Memorial Service celebrating Joyce will be held at Oakdale Park CRC, 961 Temple S.E. on Tuesday, October 13 at 2 p.m. There will be a visitation with the family at 1 p.m. Pastor James Jones and Pastor William Vanden Bosch officiating. A private burial has taken place. Thank you to the Whispering Woods staff and Spectrum 6 North for the compassionate care given to Joyce.
