 Robert
P.
Blanksma, aged 78, of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord on Sunday,
January 31,
2010. He graduated from Ferris State University, served his country
during the
Korean War, and is a member of E.A.A. Aviation. He was preceded in
death by his
wife, Thelma. He is survived by his children, Kim (Michael) Herman
Karen
(Roger) Hess; four grandchildren, Kathryn (Ben) Brintlinger, Jonathan
(Ashley
"Nikki") Herman, Jake Hess, Kara Hess; two great grandchildren, Micah
and Finn Brintlinger; brothers and sister, Henry Blanksma, Susanne
(David)
Krebs, Emery (Sharon) Blanksma, Walter (Susan) Blanksma; sister-in-law,
Esther
Wellington; and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be
held 10:30
a.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Wyoming Park United Methodist
Church, 2244
Porter, SW; with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Interment in Chapel
Hill
Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Wyoming Park
United
