Don K. Anderson, aged 87, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, March 6, 2009 and now joins his wife, the love of his life, Grace, who preceded him. Don was the former co-owner and founder of Snip and Anderson Company, which he ran until he retired. His family was always first in his life. Don had a gift for conversation and developed many special friendships with his customers and fellow businessmen over the years. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycles for recreation. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Don "Chip" and Kelley J. Anderson and their children, Ken, Max, and Roger Anderson, Tim and Barbara Anderson and their children, Timothy Anderson and fiancée Jessica Berg, Michael and Emily Anderson; sister-in-law, Joyce Hill; his nephew whom he considered his son, Bob Kuhn; several other nieces and nephews; and an honorary daughter, Toni Vredevoogd. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 5333 Clyde Park Ave., Wyoming with Rev. James Croom officiating. Interment is at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Lung Association or Mel Trotter Ministries. Relatives and friends may meet his family at the church on Thursday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
