Cornelia "Cora" Alofs, age 90, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 16, 2009. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Alofs. She is survived by her children, Darryl (Mary) Alofs, Cornell (Sharon) Alofs, Mary (Kenneth) Kwantes, Susan (Larry) Boogaard, and Barbara (Dean) Perrin; 14 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and her brother, Don (Jenny) Pluim. She was a longtime member of Eastern Avenue Christian Reformed Church. Funeral services including committal will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Isaac Apol officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Eastern Ave. C.R.C.
