Mr. "Bud" Ernest J. Alicki, age 90, of Grand Rapids, passed away May 18, 2009. Bud is survived by his wife, Katherine; their children, Cynthia and Gordon Evarts, Rev. Timothy and Cindy Alicki; grandchildren, Gordon and Vikki Evarts, Andrea and Brian Bennink, Nathaniel Schafer; great grandchildren, Tyler and Emily Evarts, Jacob and Michael Bennink; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Alicki, Mildred Earl, Betty and Rev. Roger Johnson, Erma Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Bud will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home - Van Strien Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield NE where relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
